Going out of town and won’t be able to use e-mail?

Remember to have fun on vacation, but don’t forget to tell your e-Buddy that you’ll be away!

You can also suspend the automated reminder e-mails for when you are out of town by logging into the e-Buddies Community. This will also let us know that there isn’t a problem with your match.

To suspend your match, here is all that you have to do:
• Log into the e-Buddies Community at www.ebuddies.org/community/index.php (e-mail me at BillMaurer@bestbuddies.org if you don’t remember your login information)
• Click on the “View Status” link
• Find the “I will not be able to e-mail my e-Buddy from:” date fields and enter the dates that you will not be able to access your e-mail

That’s it! It only takes a couple of minutes, but it will go a long way to help ensure that your match stays healthy.

Are you still waiting to be matched with an e-Buddy? Why not check out the e-Buddies Message Boards in the e-Buddies Community to connect with other members of the e-Buddies Community. Simply log into the Community and click on the “Message Boards” link.

Please help us keep our records up to date! This will ensure that your e-Buddy can receive your e-mails. If your e-mail address is incorrect in our records, your e-mails to your e-Buddy may not be able to get through our system.

To update your e-mail address, you can go to the www.ebuddies.org homepage and click in the purple “e-Buddies: Did you change your e-mail address? Please click here!” box.

You can also update your e-mail information through the e-Buddies Community by clicking on the “Edit Profile” link.
