Dear Friend, August means that back to school time is here, and I welcome the increase in new members after the slower days of summer. I welcome, too, the quickening of the pace of events at Best Buddies – and I hope you will learn more about one in particular and how you can help e-Buddies. All around the country, Best Buddies have begun training for the upcoming Best Buddies Challenge – Hearst Castle , set for Saturday, October 1 st . I hear it is a beautiful trip visually, with a beautiful purpose, too – to raise funds to support our mission of friendship for children and adults who have intellectual disabilities. I hope you will consider participating, as you can help raise money to support our e-Buddies program.
