Letter from the Director Ask Emerson Best Buddies Spotlight e-Buddy of the Month Tech Corner

contentsAsk Emerson

Dear Emerson,

My e-Buddy writes me too often! He sends me at least 10 e-mails everyday. I donít have time to read them all, but I donít want to hurt his feelings. What do I do?

Signed,
Overloaded in Oklahoma

Dear Overloaded,

It is fine if you tell your e-Buddy that you donít have a lot of time to e-mail, and ask if he will e-mail you less often. Itís a good idea to give him a specific limit, such as only three e-mails per day, or five a week, or whatever you are comfortable with.

If your e-Buddy is online a lot, you should suggest he visit the e-Buddies Online Community. Here he can communicate with other e-Buddies members through our message boards. Direct him to www.ebuddies.org, and then he can click on the link on the left that says ďe-Buddies Member LoginĒ. If he doesnít know his user ID or password, he can contact any member of the e-Buddies staff.

Signing off,
Emerson
