Dear Friends,

Tom Hanks won an Academy Award in 1994 for his portrayal of Forrest Gump in the movie of the same name. I sometimes think of Forrest’s adage, “Life is like a box of chocolates; you never know what you’re gonna get.”

Meeting a new person is like opening a box of chocolates, too. Some become our favorites, some we don’t care for, some are nuts, and some are sweet. By joining e-Buddies, you have made the choice to open the box, and by staying in e-Buddies, you are making the commitment to create a new friendship, no matter what kind of person you meet.
