e-Buddies Speak Out!

What is "e-Buddies Speak Out!"? We want to hear from you! So, each quarter, we pose a different question to you -- the e-Buddies Community -- and we publish your responses!

This month, we asked:

"How will you dress up for Halloween this year?"

Here's what you said:

Peter from California says:

"I'm dressing up as an evil emperor."

--

Diane from California says:

"I work for a pharmaceutical company that makes eye drops in a small white bottle with a bright yellow cap, for patients following cataract surgery.

"I am going to inflate a 3 foot, white balloon and draw an eyeball on it. Then I'm going to make a white dress for me that looks like the bottle (I'm going to xerox the label on a large piece of paper), with a bright yellow hat that looks like the bottle cap!"

--

Carli from Michigan says:

"I am going to be Ariel from The Little Mermaid for Halloween this year of 2008."

--

Amanda from Massachusetts says:

"I don't know if I am going to dress up for Halloween this year. I am going to hand out candy instead. But I bet you will see some other great costumes."

--

Jimmy from California says:

"I'm going to be a train engineer, with a cap and overalls and a neckerchief!"

--

Wren from Michigan says:

"Because we live in a small town, instead of trick-or-treating, we do a thing called trunk-or-treat. Lots of people come and park in the church parking lot, their trunks facing outwards. They decorate the trunks with themes and pass out candy from the open trunks of vans and cars. Kids come by and pick up candy from every trunk instead of houses - it's a lot of fun! Last year, we took our van and made it look like my sister and I were a mermaid and a pirate, respectively. We were on an island with a palm tree and passed out candy from a treasure chest. It was awesome!

This year, we can't go to trunk or treat because my mom and dad are going away for my dad's birthday. So, I guess, we can dress up like normal people! :) "

--

Misty from New York says:

"I'm not dressing up."

--

Bailey from Texas says:

"I'm dressing up in a couples costume with by boyfriend. We will probably do softball player and baseball player since we both already have the clothes for it!"

--

Morgan from Florida says:

"I am going to be a vampire like from my favorite book, Twilight!"

--

Karen from California says:

"I am going to a Halloween dance! I might be a queen or a fairy princess."

--

Pepper from Louisiana says:

"Every year we have a plastic skeleton, whom we've affectionately named Eric, hanging from the tree in our front yard. This year, the kids decided to dress Eric as a hanged pirate. Well, one thing led to another and now the entire front yard is a pirate "graveyard," complete with a battered sign that reads "YE BE WARNED." What else could I possibly dress as to answer the door and hand out candy to the neighborhood trick or treaters? Of course I'll be a pirate!"

--

Sylvia from Massachusetts says:

"I would dress up as a cowboy. It's simple and I don't have to worry about wasting my money on costumes."

--

Valerie from Michigan says:

"A girl version of the Joker from the new Batman movie, The Dark Knight!"

--

Eric from Washington says:

"I'm dressing up as the Dark Knight, the new Batman look. That is what I'm going to be, with style!"

--

Alyssa from Massachusetts says:

"I will be the Cat in the Hat from Doctor Suess for work because I work with kids and I was thinking of them, but I'm too old to go trick or treating."

--

Saleana from Connecticut says:

"This year, I will be dressing up as a witch."

--

Honey from Texas says:

"I am going to be a cheerleader from Grease for Halloween!"

--

Michael from Arizona says:

"I have a really scary costume. It's my evil jester costume. You will see it on Halloween night!"

--

Mikayla from Maryland says:

"Where I live, we aren't allowed to go trick or treating, but I don't know why. But at least I still get candy! :D"

--

Daniel from Oklahoma says:

"I will be the Grim Reaper!"

--

Mariela from California says:

"I'm dressing like a Candy Corn Witch for Halloween for this year!"

--

Migdalia from Massachusetts says:

"I'm going to be myself for Halloween!"

--

Shannon from California says:

"The way I will dress up for Halloween is as a cheerleader, or a black Spiderman, or something else. I love Halloween! That is one of my favorite holidays."

--

Jonathan from Connecticut says:

"I will dress as Michael Myers."

--

Kristen from California says:

"I am not dressing up this year. I just moved from North Carolina to California."

--

Thomas from Georgia says:

"Nothin'."

--

Mac from Georgia says:

"I don't know, I ain't thought about that deal!"

--

Tony from Georgia says:

"I'm going to be a judge, with black robe and gavel."

--

Laura from Florida says:

"I will dress up in my Halloween costume from last year, with polka dots on it."

--

Karen from California says:

"I am going to a Halloween dance! I might be a queen or a fairy princess."

--

Jeni from New Hampshire says:

"I dressed up as a Minnie Princess. It was easy because I had the ears with a princess hat already on it from my trip to Disney in August."
