Best Buddies Recognizes Our Spirit of Friendship Recipients and Outstanding Chapters

Best Buddies 13th Annual Leadership Conference
Over 700 students attended the 13th annual Best Buddies Leadership Conference in Houston, Texas!

Best Buddies honored Clayton Vandergriff and Ray Ingram from the University of Texas - Austin with the Spirit of Friendship Award during the leadership conference last week.

Clayton and Ray visit with each other weekly, engaging in various activities including bowling, Frisbee, golf, and dining at local restaurants in Austin. Their interests complement each other; both are avid sports fans, allowing them to truly enjoy their Best Buddies friendship. Clayton and Ray are wonderful examples of the true power and gift of friendship. Best Buddies is thrilled to recognize this match with the Spirit of Friendship award.

In addition, Best Buddies also presented 17 Outstanding Chapter Awards. The following chapters were awarded this recognition based on the quality of their one-to-one friendships, effectiveness of group outings, chapter involvement, community awareness and chapter communication:
