How to Sign Up for e-Buddies

Group Application

e-Buddies provides a quick and easy Group Application for teachers to sign up students for our program. The Group Application is submitted electronically; there is no need for hard copies of paperwork, and your application is instantly received.

Before you get started, make sure you have the following for each participant:

Creating a Group Profile

  1. Click Join e-Buddies on the left column of
  2. Select the first link to sign up individuals with intellectual disabilities.
  3. Select Group.
  4. After reviewing the information on the page, select Click here to continue.
  5. Please read the Code of Conduct. If you agree to the terms, check the box at the bottom of the page and click I Agree.
  6. Here you will enter your school information as well as the group contact information. When you are finished, click Submit. Optional: if there is an additional teacher that will be running the group, enter his/her information here.
  7. Review the information. If everything is correct, click Submit.

You will receive an e-mail with your group login information after completing these steps. To log into your group account click Group Administration on the left column of the e-Buddies homepage.

After you create a group profile, you will be able to enter in your students' information. When you complete the application for each student, click Save at the bottom. When you are done adding students, click Done at the bottom of the page. Please note: you do not have to enter in all of your participants during one session; the group profile allows you to add students at a later time.

*e-Buddies does not create e-mail addresses for participants. Each member must have an individual e-mail address. The e-Buddies E-mail System cannot accommodate the same e-mail address for multiple participants.

Note: the Group Application and Administration should ONLY be used to sign up groups of special education students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are not currently accepting groups of general education students and other volunteer participants who do not have intellectual or developmental disabilities.
