How to Sign Up for e-Buddies

If you are joining e-Buddies with your class or agency, your teacher or support staff will sign up for you. Below are instructions if you are signing up on your own.

Before you get started, make sure you have the following:

Now you can start the application! Remember, if you need help, ask a parent, teacher or friend to help you.

Fill out the e-Buddies Application

  1. Click Join e-Buddies on the left column of
  2. Select the first link for signing up individuals with intellectual disabilities
  3. Choose the Individuals link.
  4. After reviewing the information on the page, select Click here to continue.
  5. Please read the Code of Conduct. Check the box at the bottom of the page and click I Agree.
  6. Here you will enter your contact information. When you are finished, click Submit.
  7. Fill out your background information. Click Submit.
  8. Fill out your interests. This will help us find a good match. Click Submit.
  9. Fill out your parent contact information if you need your parent's consent. Here you will enter contact information for 3 references. Click Submit.
  10. Review the information. If everything is correct, click the link at the bottom of the page to submit.

You've completed the application! You will get an e-mail confirming that you submitted the application. The e-Buddies staff will then begin working on your application.
